A church isn't a building—it's the people. Sometimes families can't make it to church but that doesn't mean you should miss out. Aurora NextGen Online is a resource to help families discover Jesus and the journey... together.

up week at Aurora

May 31 is UP WEEK where students in Kindergarten-12th grade will be moving "UP" to the environment congruent with the grade they will be in this coming Fall. Some students will stay where they are but for students who are Kindergarten, grades 4th, and 6th grade will mean moving into a new ministry environment.

We know that times like these can be overwhelming and some of our kids may be experiencing fear or anxiety about what is going on in the world around them. Help your kiddo through some big emotions and encouraging them that they serve a Bigger God:

Life is better together… and we miss you! Parents, your student & kids are invited to join a NextGen Zoom Group on a live video chat call! “Zoom Groups” are opportunities to catch-up with each other, discuss the lesson video from last Sunday or devotion, and pray for each other!

Kids Zoom Groups (1-6th Grade): Wednesdays at 3:30pm for 45 minutes.
Student Zoom Groups (7-12 Grade): Wednesday from 7:30-8:30pm

Once registered, parents will receive an email with the link.

Early Childhood

We are using a lemonade stand theme this month to welcome in the warmer days and introduce preschoolers to the amazing truth that God loves me. We want preschoolers to know that God has put a lot of planning and creating and love into each of them. And, just like you can’t separate the water from the sugar from the lemon juice once you mix them, NOTHING can separate us from God’s love.

Throughout the Bible, we read about all sorts of people who showed determination in the face of hardship and difficulty. They relied on God’s strength to get them through it. Even Jesus Himself endured through the pain of the cross so that we would be able to have a forever relationship with God. When it comes to the situations in our own lives, God gives us the Holy Spirit to empower us to keep going, even when life gets difficult.

As followers of Jesus, we are called to shine the light of Jesus in everything we do! In this ten-week devotional series, we are going to explore 10 characteristics of how Jesus lived and how we can be more like Him. Each week includes a challenge. Will you complete them all?

Generosity is our privilege because Jesus was first generous towards us. Join with the vision of Aurora Community Church to make an impact in the Shoreline community.
